When you were a kid, your imagination could make the most wondrous realities out of the most mundane objects. But Ted Danson's imagination got a huge help from a rather surprising found object, as he detailed it on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).When he and his friend were out playing army they discovered a real human skull, with what sounds like entrance and exit wound holes in it. Even more gruesome, the skull still had a tuft of hair attached to it still.
Nevertheless, the kids weren't daunted by this object at all, instead modifying their game to suit this exiting new find.
They mounted the skull on a stick and played Romans and Gauls, according to Danson. Later, he even told his archaeologist father about the find, though he had to admit they'd simply discarded the skull, along with the stick and their other "toys," when they were done with it.
