The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Try to Console Taylor Over Dinner (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 20th 2011 8:30AM
Kyle Richards and Taylor ArmstrongFrankly, given that we know the tragic conclusion to Taylor and Russell Armstrong's marriage, it's sometimes a little hard to watch this season of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' (Mon., 10PM ET on Bravo).

This week the focus stayed on the state of the Armstrongs' marriage. The women head to Camille Grammer's Colorado estate for some R&R, which is derailed by an erratic Taylor who just can't stop crying about her marital woes.

Concerned that she may be having a genuine breakdown, the other women take time out to console her. Over dinner Adrienne tells Taylor that living apart from Russell could be the best thing for their daughter. "Sometimes two, separate, happy homes are better than one miserable home."

Kyle thinks that Taylor's behavior shows she may not really be in love with Russell, or think her marriage is worth saving. Despite tearful claims that she loves Russell, when Lisa asks if she really does love him or if actually she's just afraid to be alone, Taylor falls silent.

Cue deep meaningful glances around the table as the other 'Housewives' ponder the implications of her silence. Eventually Kyle breaks the ice and jokes: "This is one fun laughable dinner, I'm telling you!"

Many who spoke to The Daily Beast say that, since the Armstrongs got married in 2005, Taylor had been the arm candy for her husband’s business ventures, helping him rope in rich investors—a notion echoed in a complaint filed in July in Superior Court of California by MyMedicalRecords.com, a company in which Russell, at one time, had a significant stake. It says Russell engaged in “self-dealing” and, “in concert with Taylor,” the couple “secretly funnel[ed]" money to themselves to fund their “lavish lifestyle

Everyone associated with this disgusting show and its total lack of dignity should hang their social climbing heads in shame. A man is dead and here is his plastic cold-as-ice wife cashing in..VILE.

Hi Good Lookin

Taylor was obviously so mentally worn out by her husband that she was losing it. Maybe now that he's out of the picture she can move on and regain her mental health. I just hope that she doesn't blame herself for his selfish act of suicide. He was an abuser and killing himself was his final act of abuse to his wife.

Taylor looks like she has gone through a lot since last season. And it sure is weird knowing that things won't end well. There was something off about the way she and Russell interacted on the show, but I wonder about these abuse allegations. It seems odd that Russell would agree to have cameras around and control his temper during months of taping. Oh, well. These women are a trip. And they appear to not like Lisa much anymore.

Hi Good Lookin

I liked Lisa at first but her true colors are finally showing. She's a self absorbed know it all who has little or no feelings for anyone else but herself. I didn't like Kim at first but I see now that she has a good heart and I'm even warming up to Camille. The way that you treat others who are going through a hard time says a lot about a person. I think we saw who cares and who doesn't last night.

What a crock of B.S.. These women don't have a clue to reality or want or need. Millions are out of work and dealing with REAL problems and just trying to keep their heads above water. Wake up America....stop dreaming and face cold facts that life as we know it is going down the shitter. To hell with this crap.

taylor always had the poor me syndrome,,well now i guess she has reason to this time,
its too bad that her husband ever signed up to be on the show,,maybe he would still be here,
that show definitely broke his spirit.
i hope his soul is at rest,,,,,,,

Wow not the place or the time. Knowing what we know now (her husband's suicide)Taylor should get herself mentally strong and stable for herself and her child even if it means taking time off the show.
She is a mess... and this is before her husband's death? I can only see her getting worse...

Taylor is very pretty BUT she really should STOP the injections on her lips.. I have NO pity at al for Taylor. I watched the show where 'they' were all at an outdoor patio party and I was so embarrassed for Taylor's husband. He was humiliated as Taylor sat with her circle of Witches crying at a frigid party... talking about how he abuses her and other 'stuff' that Taylor did NOT have to air at the Patio Party !! At first I thought...well, this must all be a put on for Ratings 'cause 'most' of the Chit you see on these *Reality* shows are just a lot of BULL... then the Husband Kills himself... NO TAYLOR... go cry the B.S. tears someplace else..NUF on TV PLEASE !! In no time another RICH man will come along and Taylor will be flirting like White on Rice..
