Ted Danson will be pulling double-duty this Fall TV season, reprising his role as the eryudite stoner George Christopher on HBO's 'Bored to Death,' and taking on the new challenge of joining 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.' He stopped by 'Early' (9AM ET on CBS) where he talked to Chris Wragge about the pressure of joining such a long-running, successful show, and emphasized that even with all the work on his plate, he's still having a great time.

"It came out of the blue for me. It's unlike anything I've ever done," he said, "and I'm having a great time learning all this new stuff." Danson's got big shoes to fill, after Laurence Fishburne left the cast this offseason.

Danson joked about feeling the pressure of joining 'CSI,' which has gets huge ratings and has been going strong for 11 seasons. "Yeah, Ted's the guy who brought the entire 11-years to a grinding halt..." imaginging a scenario where he completely imploded the show.

Danson also briefly talked about 'Bored to Death,' and how grateful he was that HBO and CBS agreed to let him be on both shows. He's busy, but loving life. "Hey, don't cry for me, I'm having so much fun my wife accuses me of going to the spa every day," he said.
