'X Factor' Contestant Drops Pants During Performance, Disgusts Judges (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 22nd 2011 12:10PM
'The X Factor' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX) premiere was filled with inspirational stories and impressive vocal performances, but also featured one moment that was considerably less uplifting. A male performer unexpectedly dropped his pants in the middle of a song, disgusting Paula Abdul and everyone else in attendance.

As the flasher, who claimed to be a classically trained musician, sang "Let's get nude, don't be a prude," he pulled down his pants. The judges and live audience shrieked in horror, and Paula Abdul walked to a bathroom backstage, feeling sick to her stomach. Simon Cowell could only sit there stone-faced, looking disgusted, as the man sang, "I'm a stud," repeatedly.

After the performance, L.A. Reid chastised the flasher. "That was offensive, disgusting, distasteful, upsetting ... get him out of the building, please."

The show decided to air the moment, and blurred out the man's privates with a big X. Oddly enough, no security dragged the man off-stage, so his no-bottoms performance continued uninterrupted for several minutes. If 'The X Factor' was looking for a cringe-worthy "William Hung" type moment to get people talking, it found one, no pun intended.

please someone tell me the dude got arrested for public exposure and maybe even pedophile behavior because it was well known to be an audience containing underaged girls. People like this are simply put, like L.A. said offensive, disgusting, distasteful, upsetting, and so on and so forth.
This shouldn't be allowed to go unpunished.

This guy is "American Idol", hands down! Oops, wrong show; still, same idea.

He's better than any of the other contestants on AI and XF, combined.

There's a difference between streaking/flashing for silliness sake (ie the weather channel streaker) and this perv who probably got off on people looking at his privates. It shouldn't have been allowed to continue, especially if this is supposed to be a family show and children were in the audience.

For those people that took their children to see this show, you need to press charges on this man. Don't let Hollywood take advantage of your children like this. I'm sure if this man would have done this at any other public event he would have been tackled down by security and arrested.

This man should have been escorted off the stage and charges pressed immediately. There were children in the audience and that qualifies this animal as a registered sex offender. Shame of the producers for not taking the appropriate action and for airing this portion of the show. Letters should be written to the FCC and to Pepsi and Chevrolet threatening to boycott their products for sponsoring this type of behavior. I assumed this would be a family show safe to watch with my children! Apparently this is not the first time for this on the X-factor, a similar incident occurred on the British version of the show.

Letters should be written threatening to boycott Pepsi and Chevy. The producers had a responsibility to immediately escort this man off the stage and press charges, there were children in the audience and this man should be convicted sex offender. This is supposed to be a FAMILY show!!!
