Bill Hader, Alec BaldwinAlec Baldwin was supposed to play the part eventually portrayed by Leonard Nimoy in last Sunday's Emmy Awards opening skit, but the actor dropped out when Fox decided to censor his joke about Rupert Murdoch and News Corp's wiretapping scandal.

Thankfully, Bill Hader asked Baldwin about the zinger in the promos for this week's Season 37 opener of 'Saturday Night Live,' and you can hear it below ... sort of.

You should know that Baldwin is so ready for his record-making 16th hosting gig that he arrived prepared with a brand-new Trapper Keeper. Eeee!

Watch the promos below, and don't forget to come back Sunday for Mike Ryan's scorecard of the 'SNL' Season 37 premiere.
