Former 'The Hills' and 'Laguna Beach' reality star Kristin Cavallari has been paired with Mark Ballas on this season's 'Dancing With The Stars.' Both are newly single, and on 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox) she addressed the rumors that the two were already dating.

Dorothy Lucey started the rapid-fire examination. "There are rumors about you and your partner ..." but before Cavallari could finish denying them, Jillian Reynolds jumped in. "He's with Pia, right?" she asked. Reynolds was referring to Pia Toscano, a contestant from last season's 'American Idol.' Cavallari wouldn't comment that, but definitively denied she and Ballas are dating. "Nothing is going on with the two of us," she said.
Kristin later mentioned that she had been asked numerous times to join 'DWTS.' "Obviously, I just went through a break-up and I just felt like it was a good time." Cavallari had been engaged to Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. The couple ended the relationship in July, and she decided to join the cast "just to stay busy."

With next week's quick-step competition, she'll surely be doing just that.
