Wendy Williams Doesn't Mind if Bristol Palin's Reality Show Bar Fight Was Fake (VIDEO)
A video of Bristol Palin getting into an argument in a bar, taken while she was filming her upcoming BIO reality show, went viral on the Web over the weekend. Some have questioned whether the trainwreck TV moment was authentic, or just a set-up to get people buzzing about the show.
In the clip, Bristol rides a mechanical bull, and then gets heckled by some of the bar's patrons, who clearly aren't fans of her mom's politics. With her show's cameras rolling, Bristol confronts one of the hecklers, and they get into a heated argument about why the man thought Sarah Palin was "going to hell." Bristol responds by telling him he probably hates her because he's gay.
The footage was catnip to 'Wendy Williams' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox), who couldn't hide her gleeful smile as she set up the clip and played it for her studio audience. Wendy then moved the story forward, saying that Bristol's 'Dancing With the Stars' and BIO co-star Kyle Massey said that even he felt like the moment was a reality show set-up. Williams didn't seem to mind either way, and found the moment deliciously entertaining regardless.
"Aren't all reality shows fake? You keep the fakery going, and we'll keep watching," Williams said, having a good laugh.
