Jenna Gering, 'Dirty Soap'Some things just don't make sense. Jenna Gering has been an actress for more than 15 years. She's married to fellow actor Galen Gering, a 'Days of Our Lives' cast member. And yet, as we saw on the premiere of 'Dirty Soap' (Sun., 10PM ET on E!), she gets jealous of his romantic scenes on the show.

We'll admit it's a little awkward that he's in bed with another woman her young children know, as that clearly made for an uncomfortable conversation for her, but how can you be the jealous type and live in that world? Did she think he could somehow avoid sex and romance on a soap opera?

And, of course, we suppose she's never had to have an intimate scene in any of her films, and would refuse them if they came up?

Or maybe it's something she's aware that he does, and if she doesn't think about it too much, she can deal with it. But when he asks her to help read lines with him and it's right there, her mind runs away with bad thoughts and drags her along for the unpleasant ride.

jenna just being human with feelings, am sure if husband Galen saw love scenes of her he would feel the same way. it would be great if she did the scene with her husband at least it would be the real deal :)

I watched DIRTY SOAPS last night and I found it pretty entertaining and informative. What I can't understand is Galen Gerings wife. I can't see how she cannot differentiate between what she has in real life and her husband does for a living, which is fantasy and allows her and their two adorable sons live in a beautiful home and not have to worry about how she's going to meet next months bills. I'd give my eyeteeth to have her life. GROW UP JENNA.. YOUR HUSBAND IS WORKING!!!! He comes home to you and your sons, HE DOES NOT GO HOME TO ALLISON SWEENEY!!!!!!

Cw is starting to carry better shows, some I don't like but they are improving. SO my question is, why can't THEY pick up All My Children?? They will have ten of thousands of new viewers.

Why did she turn TV on to watch her husband kissing another lady? Why did she turn it on while apparently her kid watched it briefly?

She must be jeaous and has somewhat low self esteem. Communicate with her husband well if possible.

It's a soap about a soap, how much more scripted can it get. It's unfortunate that the show and especially the parents don't care what results it has on the children, money before the kid's mental welfare.
