Twitter Helps Save One 'Amazing Race' Team from Early Philimination (VIDEO)

For Kaylani and Lisa, their adventure with 'The Amazing Race' (Sun., 8PM ET on CBS) nearly came to an end before they even arrived at LAX to leave the country. When stopping for directions, Kaylani accidentally knocked her passport out of the car, but when they returned for it, it was gone. One of the most amazing things in 'TAR' history then happened, as a couple of guys who happened to be at the gas station when a different team came guy noticed the passport and went to Twitter to talk about having just seen teams racing.
He was then told to get to LAX to give her the passport, and he arrived like a guardian angel with a miracle.
Or, as there was clearly a cameraman there filming the passport lying on the ground, it was just a cleverly orchestrated plot by the producers to try and build up our faith in humanity. ... But isn't it more fun to believe that there are people that great out there, who would go out of their way to help someone else realize a dream?
The former Vegas Showgirls were on the last fight, but they did manage to avoid "Philimination" in this first leg of the race. In fact, no one was eliminated as we discovered it was a non-elimination leg. Ernie & Cindy came in first, earning an Express Pass, while grandparents Bill & Cathi came in last, and must face a Speed Bump next week.
Even worse, to make up for this non-elimination leg, for the first time in 'TAR' history next week will be a double elimination. Hopefully, the grandparents won't spend hours trying to get a clue, and they can manage to stay in the thick of things.
