Ellen DeGeneres is skilled at making fun of most anything, including her own health. As you may have read on TMZ, DeGeneres experienced some tightness in her chest yesterday, and before taping her show, called the paramedics to the Warner Bros. lot.

On Tuesday's show, Ellen addressed the scary incident in her monologue, assuring her loyal viewers that she was fine, while cracking several jokes about the experience of calling the paramedics.

Ellen quipped that 50 fire trucks and ambulances showed up, and that the scene was "one marching band short of a parade." She joked that the firemen broke through her office door with an axe, which was strange, considering the door was open. Ellen closed by thanking TMZ for caring so much about her health.
