There may be less to love of Nancy Grace on 'Dancing With the Stars' these days, but last night she showed off more than her quickstep when she suffered from that wardrobe malfunction dreaded by women in low-cut dresses everywhere: The nip slip.

Thanks to some quick thinking by 'DWTS' producers and cameramen, Grace's blushes were spared as the action immediately cut away to a static shot of the audience.

Although the nip slip was edited out of the version airing on the West Coast, host Tom Bergeron quipped, "On the European version that would be perfectly fine."

A sentiment echoed by Italian judge Bruno Tonioli, who just couldn't help himself: "It was a bit top-heavy at times, my darling. And I got an eyeful!"

When British judge Len Goodman said "How refreshing!" we think he was staying on-point and referring to the dance itself, rather than referring to the post-show display.

As Grace unwittingly revealed rather more than she'd intended, viewers at home heard host Tom Bergeron gallantly rushing to her aid: "Here we go, just let me help you out there." She then covered her blushes by burying her head on her partner's shoulder.

After the show Grace and her partner Tristan MacManus seemed to be taking it all in good spirits, telling reporters backstage that neither of them had noticed her unfettered cleavage. He joked that "I missed it anyway. And usually, I spot them but I missed them."

Grace said "I looked down, I didn't see anything. I did not see a wardrobe malfunction. ... Hey, maybe that's why we got an eight!"

"When we were doing our hop scotch portion of our dance, there was a little bit of movement but it did not rise to a wardrobe malfunction," Grace told EW. "We have got every precaution known to man in this dress right here. I'm talking industrial strength precautions."
