Elisabetta Canalis was the second contestant voted off 'Dancing With the Stars,' but the Italian actress is still in good spirits. On 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) she reflected on the 'Dancing' experience and thanked her ex-boyfriend George Clooney for standing up for her against a false tabloid report.

"Dancing may not be the best thing I can do in my life, but I had this great opportunity to go to 'Dancing With the Stars,' and I had a great experience, so I can't ask anything more," she said.

Canalis also discussed her relationship with George Clooney. The pair are no longer dating, but she still thinks fondly of him. "I had a relationship with George who is a great man, he's a gentleman ... I wish him to be happy, we've both moved on," Canalis said.

She also thanked Clooney for refuting a tabloid report that she had sent him a stream of nasty text messages about his new girlfriend Stacey Keibler. "He was very nice, the fact that he stood up for me ... that's the press, you can't control what the press writes ... it's just untrue," she said.
