Nick Offerman Was Living in a Basement When He Met Wife Megan Mullally (VIDEO)

While most people would consider living as a starving artist in the basement of a bunch of fellow artists perhaps one of the roughest times of their lives, it turned out to be the best possible situation for Nick Offerman to be in. On 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) he talked about why.It was around 2000 and Offerman was doing a play at a local theater alongside Megan Mullally. This was about two years into 'Will & Grace,' though, so most everyone else there was too intimated to talk to her.
"I didn't have a television, so I didn't know any better," he explained. "I went up to her and said, 'Hi, how you doing? You're really funny.'"
Can you imagine how refreshingly authentic it must have been for her to genuinely have no idea who she is, not be starstruck or intimated by her, and still validate her comedy chops? Well, you don't have to. She married the guy!
