Eddie Cibrian Defends 'The Playboy Club,' Says 'We Get Naked ... All the Time' (VIDEO)

'The Playboy Club' has been attracting a lot of negative attention lately, as complaints from the PTC and low ratings have put the glitzy '60s drama on cancellation watch. Eddie Cibrian went on 'Rachael Ray' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) to defend the show against charges of misogyny, but couldn't bring himself to take issue with claims that it's too sexy.

"Our show has nothing to do with the Playboy Empire at all ... it has to do with Chicago in the 1960s and the Playboy Club where all the top entertainers, mobsters and politicos would come and rub shoulders ... good storytelling is what we're doing," Cibrian insisted.

He also pushed back on charges that the show is misogynistic. "People think that only guys would go there to look at the Bunnies ... but married men would bring their wives there. It was a supper club. You would sit down and have dinner and watch great entertainment ... it wasn't scandalous," Cibrian said.

He does agree with the critics on one charge against the show, however: that 'The Playboy Club' is too sexy. "They're right ... everyone's naked on that show. We get naked, all the time," he declared, to cheers from the audience. The actors had to sign nudity waivers before joining the show, but it does air on NBC, so there's no need to hide your eyes.
