Hurricane-Themed MacFarlane Cartoon Crossover Will Finally Air

by Chris Harnick, posted Sep 30th 2011 11:30AM
Fox CrossoverFox's 'Family Guy,' 'American Dad' & 'Cleveland Show' crossover will finally see the light of day on Sun., Oct. 2.

The hurricane-themed set of episodes were supposed to air last season, but were pulled by the network after a series of storms and tornadoes wreaked havoc across the nation. Now, several months later, the episodes are set to air, but don't expect a lot of hoopla.

According to TV Guide, Fox won't be promoting the special episodes like they normally would for a crossover. Additionally, they'll be airing Red Cross public service announcements.

"We're toning it down quite a bit," Fox's scheduler Preston Beckman told TV Guide. "We've learned our lesson. We didn't expect it to be a challenge when we had to pull it."

However, if there was another weather disaster, Fox is prepared to pull the episodes. So far the forecast is looking OK.

Check out Fox's promo poster for the event below.

So, because someone says reality shows, Nascar & Glee are crap you have to make it political? What does what Sekinu said have to do with being a "lib". There are plenty of political articles on AOL, Ken, go post on one of them.
