by Chris Harnick, posted Sep 30th 2011 10:45AM
ParenthoodOn the heels of a ratings bump, Deadline reports NBC has ordered two more episodes of 'Parenthood.'

Season 3 of the family drama will now have 18 episodes.

Tues., Sept 27's episode of the series -- its third of the season -- was watched by 5.5 million viewers and posted a 2.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up a tenth from the previous week.

Season 3 debuted to 6.3 million viewers, but in its second week dropped to 5.3.

However, after rising a smidgen in the ratings, it's the only Tuesday series to show an increase.

Now in its third season, the show seems to have leveled out in viewers, keeping a loyal base. The show's series premiere was watched by around 8 million viewers and bounced around 7 to 6 to 5 million viewers for two seasons.
