Gov. Chris Christie Says His Weight is 'Fair Game' for Late Night TV Hosts (VIDEO)

Chris ChristieDuring his lengthy press conference yesterday to announce that he's still not running for President, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie answered dozens of questions from reporters on a variety of topics.

He even addressed how he's become such a figure of fun for late night TV hosts.

Saying "it's not news flash to me that I'm overweight," Christie said making jokes about his girth is "fair game" for late night TV hosts, but only if their jokes about it are good.

"All I care about is that they actually are funny," he said, "so that I can at least laugh about it while they're mocking me."

Since Christie's name started to be bandied about as a possible Republican presidential candidate there have been lots of jokes about his size on TV. Even the ladies of 'The View' had a laugh about it before deciding that he's too fat to be president.

However, it's the late night hosts who've really gone to town on it, and Christie singled out 'Late Show' host David Letterman as someone who's made some pretty funny jokes at his expense.

Letterman has also made some particularly barbed jokes about Christie's size, implying that he can be bribed with pie and showing a graphic simulation of him collapsing a stage during an imagined debate.

He even compiled an "If Chris Christie Were President ... " Top Ten list, which Christie yesterday rated as 80 percent funny.

Watch Christie trying out a little stand-up of his own on reporters yesterday and then watch Letterman's Top Ten. Do you agree with the Governor's assessment that eight out of the ten are funny?
