Secrets Revealed Test Burt and Virginia's Marriage on 'Raising Hope' (VIDEO)

'Raising Hope' - 'Kidnapped'Maw Maw has been a lot more coherent this season on 'Raising Hope' (Tue., 9:30PM ET on FOX), and it's a welcome evolution. We'd never want her to lose her crazy completely, but now that they know Cloris Leachman is a regular cast member, they seem prepared to have her more involved in the actual storylines.

This week, we got a series of flashbacks about a time Burt was kidnapped when Jimmy was a little kid. One by one, Virginia, Burt and then Maw Maw revealed further details to the story until the truth lay finally revealed.

Burt was never kidnapped; he ran away from home because Virginia seemed to always be mad at him. But when Maw Maw finally revealed her secret, it turns out she's been actively trying to break the couple up since the very beginning.

It was hilarious watching her down almost an entire gallon of milk, among many other extensive steps she took to try and get Virginia move on to a man with a job and a home of her own, so she could get her granddaughter out of the house.

It's perfectly in character, as we've seen before that she doesn't want them living in her house. As much fun as Maw Maw has been when completely out of her mind, we're looking forward to seeing what a slightly more lucid Maw Maw can do this season.

There was a creepy end to the story when the pony tail dude tried to kiss Burt but it was even creepier when the police officer dude with woman’s eyes lived with Virginia. Maw Maw always gives the worst advice anyway. I hope this show gets picked up again for next season. Honestly I wouldn’t even have time to watch TV if I didn’t get a free DISH Network Sling adapter that gives me live or recorded TV from my employee DVR anywhere I go. Now with my iPhone and Galaxy Tab I watch when I have spare time and still spend quality time with my family when I get home.
