Health Scare Sends One Contestant to the Hospital on 'Next Top Model' (VIDEO)

'America's Next Top Model'It looks like the competition on 'America's Next Top Model' (Wed. 9PM ET on The CW) was almost too much for one contestant. At the house, Kayla started complaining of headaches, nausua and dizziness before her situation escalated into something even worse.

By the time she started gasping for breath and throwing up, even the cameramen put down their equipment and stepped in to try and help while the ambulance was on its way. It was a pretty scary moment as she was carted away.

Luckily, Kayla was ultimately declared okay. She had suffered cardiac arrhythmia, which is one of those fancy medical terms none of the models could learn for their 'CSI'-based "audition" this week.

At the photo shoot, Lisa and Camille struggled noticeably, with Camille feeling defeated and deciding that at 33 she was already too old for this ad campaign. It was no surprise when the two of them were put in the bottom, and Camille was sent packing ... apparently to a nice retirement community in Florida or something.

They bleeped out the names of the pills she took, but they totaled 5. Depending on how far apart she took them, that could have been the problem!

This show is okay, but it seems to affect the health of these young ladies. Are they eating? Because I never see them eat anything thing on the entire show. Most models, especially back in the old days in Janice Dickinson's time (70's and 80s'), a lot of them had eating disorders and never, hardly eat a thing. Is this is what is going on on the show? Because I never see them eat. If you don't eat, you DO get sick.

I agree Bill..I know a lot of young people drink those energy drinks like water..I know they can have an effect on ones heart rhythms.

Unless she had a undisclosed medical condition to bring on her symptoms,, i'm thinking it's possible she is popping to many "diet" pills or "adrenaline" type of products and it messed her up.

I agree...I know that drinks like Red Bull or Monster can seriously mess up your heart, so that's probably the case
