Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore and Alicia Keys Preview Breast Cancer Film 'Five' (VIDEO)

Lifetime's original movie 'Five,' which premieres Monday night at 9PM ET, looks at the effect breast cancer has on womens' lives in five short, interconnected films. Jennifer Aniston, Alicia Keys and Demi Moore, who each directed an installment, stopped by 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated on ABC) to talk about the project.

None of the women are actually in 'Five,' and for Aniston, who also acted as a producer, that made it more appealing. "That was sort of what was exciting. It was also a year of taking off from acting," she said.

Demi Moore talked about directing 'Charlotte', the first of the five shorts about a girl in the '60s whose mother dies of breast cancer. "When I read it, it wasn't written from the little girl's point of view, but I felt it was essential that we bring it down to her level."

The little girl grows up to be an oncologist who also gets breast cancer. 'Pearl,' directed by Patty Jenkins, is the 5th short and tells her story. Pearl is the doctor to 'Lili,' the main character in Alicia Keys' short. "When you read these scripts and you saw how powerful the writing was ... I knew bringing it to life was going to make it even better," Keys said.
