Kiefer Sutherland is making his return to series TV in 'Heroes' creator Tim Kring's 'Touch,' but you don't have to wait until midseason to get a glimpse of the series.

Sutherland stars as Martin Bohm, a widower and single father who struggles to connect with Jake, his mute son. Jake isn't totally without communication. Martin discovers his son can see patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events and communicate with numbers.

Sutherland is joined by co-stars Danny Glover and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the midseason drama.

"Every once in a while, you encounter a piece of material that you just cannot say no to," Sutherland said. "That, combined with the opportunity to work again with Peter Chernin and the Fox studio and network, makes me thrilled to be a part of this project. I also look forward to working with an extraordinary writer and producer like Tim Kring."
