Paula Deen Flirts With Matt Lauer and Makes Him Uncomfortable (VIDEO)

Matt Lauer set himself up for a flirtatious interview when he introduced Paula Deen as "TV's sexiest female chef." That set the tone for a 'Today' (weekdays, 9AM ET on NBC) cooking segment that was supposed to be about mashed potatoes but ended up being more about Deen getting handsy in the kitchen.

"Why do you like buttermilk in so many recipes?" Lauer asked. "The buttermilk gives it a little tang, just a little bite," Deen replied, squeezing his cheek. "You get named the sexiest chef on TV and start flirting with everybody," Lauer quipped.

Later, she asked him to mash the butter into the potatoes, and offered "a great way to keep your potatoes hot while you're going." Lauer responded that he knows "all about keeping my potatoes hot," as Deen hugged him from behind.

"I make you nervous, don't I?" she asked. Lauer spoke for everyone watching and responded in the affirmative.

Oh, what's the big deal? I thought it was kinda cute. Matt's a big boy, I'm sure he can handle a little good natured teasing. Paula was obviously having a little fun with him. Despite the attention-getting headline, this is a non-story.

Paula Deen can be extremely annoying and even more annoying with TV time...........keep Paula away from the men, she really does make a fool of herself.............
