'Haven' Renewed for Season 3
The supernaturally inclined citizens of Haven, Maine will stick around for one more season.Syfy has renewed the hit series 'Haven' for a third season. The 13-episode Season 3 is set to air in 2012.
Based on the Stephen King novella 'The Colorado Kid,' 'Haven' follows FBI Agent Audrey Parker who stumbles upon a small town and discovers that its residents harbor supernatural abilities.
"The superb cast, led by Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant, along with the terrific production team, delivered a successful season in both critical acclaim and rising viewership," Mark Stern, president of Syfy's original content, said in a statement. "We're very excited to see this compelling series return for a third season of supernatural intrigue in 2012."
In other Syfy news, the network has set premiere dates for Season 2 of 'Being Human' and the new series 'Lost Girl.' On Mon., Jan. 16 at 9PM, 'Being Human' will premiere the first of its 13 new episodes with Canadian import 'Lost Girl' following at 10PM.
