'Haven' Renewed for Season 3

HavenThe supernaturally inclined citizens of Haven, Maine will stick around for one more season.

Syfy has renewed the hit series 'Haven' for a third season. The 13-episode Season 3 is set to air in 2012.

Based on the Stephen King novella 'The Colorado Kid,' 'Haven' follows FBI Agent Audrey Parker who stumbles upon a small town and discovers that its residents harbor supernatural abilities.

"The superb cast, led by Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant, along with the terrific production team, delivered a successful season in both critical acclaim and rising viewership," Mark Stern, president of Syfy's original content, said in a statement. "We're very excited to see this compelling series return for a third season of supernatural intrigue in 2012."

In other Syfy news, the network has set premiere dates for Season 2 of 'Being Human' and the new series 'Lost Girl.' On Mon., Jan. 16 at 9PM, 'Being Human' will premiere the first of its 13 new episodes with Canadian import 'Lost Girl' following at 10PM.

I love Haven!! I'd rather sit home on Friday nights to watch it than go out with friends...it's much more entertaining.

My daughter, brother and I love haven...my brother loves Emily rose,my daughter loves Eric balfour and I love Lucas Bryant! They really picked a great group for this show because they really mesh well. This show keeps you on the edge and entertained and its been awhile since anyone has made a show like this one. I can't wait until Season 3 starts sometime in July which my wedding will be in July and even if its my wedding day or if I'm on my honeymoon I will still be watching my Haven!! Love it!
