'I Am Hip Hop' Icon Award Winner LL Cool J, '2011 BET Hip How Awards'LL Cool J took home the 'I Am Hip-Hop Icon Award' at the 2011 'BET Hip Hop Awards' (Tue., 8PM ET on BET), and he brought some rhymes with him to read in lieu of a traditional acceptance speech.

Lost Some respect points for LL there... I am tired of Rich people being blamed for thre Lazy masses with no education that have no Money. If you live in a Culture where crime and drug dealing and speaking ebonice is what you choose to do on a regular basis. you are going to remain poor. But if you choose to peak proper english, Get an education, have a good work ethic, invest your mone and save your money over time instead of blowing it on Chrome rims and Escalades or Bass Boats and 60 Flat Screens. You are going to make more money and perhaps one day be rich yourself. And if you do those things and work hard for 20 years knowing at a 40 hour work week should be a minumum NOT a maximum... You WON'T want taxes raised either when you have given so much of your time away from your family and personal life to build a fortune of your own Just to have it take from to to be give to the latter persons I mentioned.

This goes for all Cultures White or Black or Mexican or... or... etc and so on... Work hard, get an education, save your money and invest it for your future. Invest it ON WALL STREET WHERE IT CAN MULTIPLY!!! Interesting concept right? Quit blaming others for your lack of "proper" motivation in life...

LL Did get one thing righ tho', The Gov needs a complete overhaul and a hault to Spending more than the Gov takes in... The Debt (celing) is crazy and Starting with the Current President they all need to be fired and replaced till they get it right. On both sides of the Aisle...

I was watching NCIS last night and was thinking wow LL COOL J has turned out to be some fine man, and he sure has. I have friends who think of RAP the way my parents thought of heavy Rock music, so I've pointed to LL and his messages and say "you don't know what you're missing", he is someone who is doing something to turn it around...he so deserves this award.

The only thing more ridiculous than his preschool rhyme is the fact that AOL considered it powerful. It shows how far we've fallen to consider this moronic, juvenile, dribble, actually art. "fetus, feat, feet? Astonishing.

Rap is not music. It's the african style of chanting and beatinf drums jumping around and pants about to fall off. If they want respect, get a job and earn it.
