NBC Orders More 'Prime Suspect'

Prime SuspectBehold the power of the hat: NBC has ordered more 'Prime Suspect' scripts.

While not quite a full season, EW reports the network has ordered six new scripts. While not guaranteed to become produced episodes, the additional scripts are a sign of confidence in the fledgling drama series.

The Maria Bello series had a debut audience of 6.1 million viewers. The second episode fell slightly to 5.7 million viewers and its most recent showings have brought in 4.9 million viewers.

A reimagining of the popular British series that starred Helen Mirren, 'Prime Suspect' follows the life of Detective Jane Timoney, a female homicide cop in a very male-dominated police force. The series received mixed reviews from critics.

NBC already gave full season orders to 'Up All Night' and 'Whitney' and canceled 'The Playboy Club' and 'Free Agents.' The Peacock network also gave 'Harry's Law' and 'Parenthood' additional script orders.

'Prime Suspect' airs Thursdays at 10PM ET and Mondays at 10PM ET on NBC

Up all night stunk - still on

Playboy Club was good - cancelled

Prime Suspect is great - NBC not sure.

Bottom line --- NBC / BRAVO / MSNBC / CNBC and other GE Owned Networks (in part, full, past present and most likely future) ALL ROT just as their cheap junk appliances do. GE has lost it's allegiance to the UNITED STATES.

Did any watch the Jeff Immelt interview a few weeks back on 60 Minutes ??? ... Jeff Immelt said his responsibility is to the investors / shareholders. Hmmm, what about the customers that you have taken money from ????

See --- THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A COMPANY BECOMES TOOOOOO BIG (and often does NOT pay its fair share of income taxes like GE). GE apparently does NOT give a rats arse about it's CUSTOMERS which, by the way, is THEIR REVENUE.

Think about it ... when you're a start up company, or a small mom and pop shop --- its ALL about your Customers. YOU NEED THEM in every way. BUT ---- Once you grow to the point where branding is established, many companies get greedy and don't care about their customers so they rip you off with higher prices and cheaper quality to increase their profits ---- AND they can get away with it because they get new customers every second of the day around the globe without even trying because they are GIANTS with global recognition and branding FROM THE PAST ---- so now they get to screw you in the future !

So I'm flippin the bird to Immelt on this one just as the bird goes to all the BIG BANKS and other companies exporting our jobs, raising prices (or reducing the product amount) for their own arrogant greed.

The fewer people watch it, the more it fits right in on the NBC schedule!

This show is 35 years out of date. How can she be the only female on a metropoliton police force in 2011? And yes, the hat is stupid.
