'Ringer,' 'Secret Circle,' 'Hart of Dixie' Get Full Seasons From The CW

Ringer Gets Full SeasonUPDATE: The CW has gone pickup crazy. Not only has Sarah Michelle Gellar's new show, 'Ringer,' received a full-season pickup, the network has also ordered a full 22 episodes of fellow freshman dramas 'The Secret Circle' and 'Hart of Dixie.'

Gellar's anticipated return to TV brought in 2.7 million viewers, and 1.2 million in the 18-49 demographic, for its premiere -- a pretty good start according to the CW's standards. However, the dramatic thriller has been losing steam ever since.

During weeks two and three, the show scored a 0.9 in the 18-49 demographic. Then, the Oct. 4 episode's ratings dropped by 33 percent, to just a 0.6 in the 18-49 demographic. It rebounded on Oct. 11 to a 0.8 rating and 1.7 million viewers.

But it looks like the CW is committing to the struggling show, regardless of the ratings drop. After canceling its low-rated reality series 'H8R,' the network decided to replace it on Wednesdays with reruns of 'Ringer.'

Only time will tell if the reruns will help Gellar's struggling show in the ratings.

'The Secret Circle' was a no-brainer, considering it's consistently held onto the majority of the audience of its lead-in hit, 'The Vampire Diaries,' but 'Hart of Dixie' was much less of a sure thing.

Tell us: Are you happy 'Ringer,' 'The Secret Circle' and 'Hart of Dixie' got a full season?

I'm over 49 and under 60 and I love Ringer and Secret Circle. You don't have to be a certain age to like a show are to buy sponsor products. Give the older generation a little credit for watching TV too. You should keep these shows. There's not a lot out there to watch that's not a reality show.

The CW never goes in for character development. They must think their viewership can't handle anything more than one dimensional characters. I like Tim Matheson but they have turned him into a brooding bully with a cardboard cut-out stuck on a broomstick for a daughter to name just one example. The potential for Hart of Dixie is slipping in to the murkiness of poorly drawn characters and "hee-haw" plot lines.

That was.. unexpected. They must like SMG a lot. I still watch the ringer but its not on my must watch list. Hart of Dixie? gave up after 2 episode, everwood was much better.

-1 episode and done with Ringer
-Garden.......no shot at watching that
-Dixie..still watch.... but on a VERY SHORT LEASH....she is very very hot (gotta work on the stupid shoes she wears in Gritville AL)......but the cornball is getting more and more.... and that conflict thing with Matheson is really starting to annoy me
