Silicon Valley Meets 'Jersey Shore' in Rumored New MTV Reality Show

'Jersey Shore' castDo you like drinking, fighting, tanning, making out with strangers and working out in the gym? Would you like to be followed round by a camera crew 24/7 and have every aspect of your life on TV?

If you answered "yes," and you're also a young professional living in Silicon Valley, then we may have just the reality show opportunity you've been waiting for.

'Business Insider'
reports that a casting call has gone out looking for young professionals to star in a Silicon Valley reality show.

The casting call is looking for "confident professionals with big personalities." Marital status and sexual orientation is unimportant, but successful applicants must love to party hard.

The network hasn't been disclosed but, as the casting company previously worked on 'The Hills,' it's rumored to be MTV.

From the casting call: "How about a hotshot lawyer, who works hard from 9-5 but parties even harder after dark? Maybe you just got your break working at one of the biggest internet companies burning through the late-night hours and partying in the even later ones? Or maybe you're a middle school teacher in a small suburb, but you have a secret wild side?"

A source who's been contacted by the casting company told 'Business Insider' that the plan is "to do a 'Jersey Shore'-type vibe where they have a bunch of people starting one company in one house. They would be going out, getting drunk, and getting in fights with each other while banding together and trying to create the next big thing."

To create as much friction and tension in the house as possible, an outsider -- possibly a high-school or college dropout -- will be added to the cast as "the enemy." So, basically, the premise is: See what hilarious japes ensue after Snooki or Ronnie moves in with Sheldon Hofstadter and Leonard Cooper ...

Can 'Jersey Shore' be recreated out west? Or are the denizens of Silicon valley just too focused on their careers to take part in a reality show? Stay tuned for updates.
