The narcotics unit in Laredo, TX is kept pretty busy, with their town being a main entry point for drugs coming in from Mexico. On 'Bordertown: Laredo' (Thu., 10PM ET on A&E), we were treated to a double dose of what their job can be like when things are going well.In the first episode, after three days of tracking it, they finally take down a tractor trailer that turns out to be simply jam-packed with marijuana. The estimate is that they've taken $5 million-worth of the drug off the streets.
In the second episode, they busted a massive haul of cocaine. Clearly, these guys are very good at what they do. As one of them pointed out, "Somebody's pissed off," referring to the cartel or organization that just lost all that product.
