Casey Anthony Gets Her Own 'E! True Hollywood Story'

by Catherine Lawson, posted Oct 14th 2011 7:15AM
Casey AnthonyCasey Anthony, the Florida mom who was sensationally acquitted of the 2008 murder of her young daughter Caylee, became a familiar face to TV viewers during the intense media coverage of the case.

Now it's been reported that Anthony's become the latest "celebrity" to get the 'E! True Hollywood Story' treatment, in a special premiering next week.

According to the 'Orlando Sentinel,' producers got the inside scoop by interviewing journalists covering the case, Anthony's ex-boyfriends, a former high school friend, former defense attorneys and Zenaida Gonzalez, who is suing Anthony for defamation.

Gonzalez says her life was ruined when Anthony linked her to the disappearance of two year-old Caylee: "It started going down like, 'You're a baby killer, you killed that baby.' They were going to kidnap my daughters and see how I like [it] and then they started saying that they [were] going to kill them and they [were] going to send them to me in pieces in a box to my house and yeah. ... I hate that part."

Brandon Snow, Anthony's former boyfriend who is now in hiding, is quoted as saying "If you wanted to hang out [or] go party she was always down."

Anthony's defense attorney, Dorothy Clay Sims, says that media coverage of the case portrayed her client in a poor light. "You follow someone around, let's say 24/7, and then you only play one or two hours of their most difficult time, that does not define who that individual is. That was an unfair portrayal of her."

There's been no word yet if Anthony's TV nemesis, Nancy Grace, will feature in the hour-long special. She covered the case for years in her single-minded pursuit of the "truth" about Caylee's death, and her intense, often controversial, scrutiny produced record ratings for CNN's Headline News.

Grace's outraged disbelief -- "somewhere out there, the devil is dancing tonight" -- at the "not guilty" verdict handed down this summer sparked headlines around the world.

'E! True Hollywood Story: Casey Anthony' premieres Wednesday Oct. 19, 10PM ET on E!

Ok wait. First it says she did not graduate Highschool. Then it says she got a job at Universal Studios taking photos. Then practically the next sentence it says she was pregnant and how she should have known because she was a NURSE. When the heck did she get her nursing degree?

Isuhmjr: You're an a$$hole who believes a freaking liar...she did something to that baby and is walking free! And you calling someone a "baby" because they didn't get their way...didn't get their way?? What kind of drugs are you on, moron!? A baby was murdered and thrown out like trash!!!!!!!! Are you forgetting this?? People like you who believe her are simply as delusional as she is. The jurors themselves even said "not guilty does NOT MEAN INNOCENT!" Had the prosecutors not been so sure that this was a shut and closed case, your precious baby killer, Casey, would be in prison for life right now!

And by the way, most of the US and even people in other countries cannot stand that POS...get your facts straight, dumb a$$!

And let her get paid, I don't give a fu(k! Just remember these two things, society WILL NEVER accept her, and karma is coming for her...you can bet on that!

Followed this from the time it first aired on the news in 08. What I think is that the prosecutors dropped the ball, with Ashton laughing and shaking his head like a ventriloquist's dummy from the opening statement of Baez and through out the trial, when Judge Perry had specifically asked that NOT be done. Many thought it would be Cindy & George who would be showing emotion, nodding their heads in disagreement and such, when it turned out to be Ashton and Casey who did it all. It was a shame when Ashton could only say he HOPED that Caylee had chloroform in some form before being killed. He HOPED? After all the build up, I sure as hell expected more, yes, I sure did and I'm sure the jurors who didn't follow it daily needed to hear MORE to send a person to death or life. Prosecutors OVER reached and lost it all. What a damn shame, as Casey is free because of the poor decision to shoot for the moon. That's EXACTLY how I feel.

Hopefully Nancy G. will have a s****e and save us from seeing her grotesque figure on anything to do with DWTS. Sure, it's easy not to tune in to this idiocy, but it's a lot harder to completely insulate yourself from it. The same does for Nancy's shoe, but at least that one's easier to avoid.

Once again, sweet Caylee has been swept under the rug for Casey's now famed notariety. It should be about a little girl who lost her life way too soon to a tragic ending. I don't want to hear anything about that evil woman ever again.
