The notorious Slutty Pumpkin has been part of 'How I Met Your Mother' lore for years, but now, after hearing about the mysterious stranger who stole Ted's heart back in 2001, we finally get to see her.

Here are some photos of guest star Katie Holmes making her debut as the Slutty Pumpkin on this year's Halloween episode. Don't Ted and Slutty Pumpkin look cute together?

Honestly, we don't think she looks that slutty, but the costume is pretty short, and there are some very strategically placed holes in the front, which might just have made for an interesting time with Ted's Hanging Chad (remember them?) outfit.

Ted memorably fell for the Slutty Pumpkin at a Halloween party in 2001 but never saw her again after he lost her number. Will the tenth anniversary of their chance encounter be the magic year that he finds her again?
