With the police on his trail in relation to the murder last week, Jonathan and Ray were on the run this week on 'Bored to Death' (Mon., 9PM ET on HBO). When the pair of them headed off to try and solve the case before the police found him, George hung back to deal with the cops who showed up at his place.

Afterwards, he headed off to meet up with them, but to calm his nerves he may have smoked a little bit too much weed. He started seeing spies and people watching him everywhere, so much that he stole his daughter's boyfriend's bike and ultimately dumped his phone in a mailbox.

By the end of the episode, it turns out George was right to be paranoid. Luckily, by then Jonathan and Ray had broken the case and proven Jonathan's innocence. And in so doing, got the boys back together and 'Bored to Death' back to being the most entertaining mystery series on television.
