Jim is Strung Up Like a Tasty Dino Treat on 'Terra Nova' (VIDEO)

'Terra Nova' - 'The Runaway''Terra Nova' (Mon., 8PM ET on FOX) toned way down on the dinosaur action this week, but that's only because we got some juicy plot developments as far as the larger story goes. A young girl, Leah, is sent to infiltrate Terra Nova to retrieve something for Mira, the leader of the Sixers.

It's certainly telling that she would use someone so young to do her dirty work, but when Jim went after them, she planted some other bugs in his ear. He almost didn't have an ear to her it, though, after their trap snagged him and we got our lone dino sighting of the week.

But it was an adorable one. We loved how animated the dinosaur was once it realized Jim was hanging above it like a bit of catnip on a string. In fact, the flicking of the tail and the excitement of the creature was so much like a cat, we found ourselves smiling even as Jim faced mortal danger.

Mira advised Jim that Terra Nova isn't what he thinks it is and that Taylor isn't the great leader everyone thinks he is. We know she's been selling that to the Sixers based on Leah referring to Taylor as the bad man. But what it means and what Terra Nova is really about are secrets for another day, as are the contents in that box.

Further, are we confident that we can trust Leah still, or was that seed of doubt planted in Jim's ear enough for Mira right now. There's still the matter of a supposed inside man, though we already know Mira and Taylor are more friendly in private than anyone knows. So what is really going on?
