Amy Sedaris Joins 'Good Wife,' 'CSI' Finds Hunk For Catherine & More Casting News

Amy Sedaris Joins The Good WifeAmy Sedaris vs. Alan Cumming? We're so there! The 'Strangers With Candy' star is joining CBS's 'The Good Wife' as a nemesis for Cumming's character Eli Gold.

According to TVLine, Sedaris will play Stacie Hall, a lobbyist who starts poaching Eli Gold's clients.

"We love Amy. We sometimes have dreams of switching all the actors from 'The Wire' and 'Strangers With Candy,'" Robert and Michelle King, 'Good Wife' co-creators and executive producers, said in a statement to TVLine. "The next best thing is to have Amy playing Eli Gold's nemesis."

In other casting news ...

Will Grant Show have a hand in Marg Helgenberger's 'CSI' exit? Show will appear in multiple episodes as an FBI agent and love interest for Helgenberger's Catherine Willows. [TVLine]

Dianne Wiest and Chris Cooper are close to joining HBO's 'The Corrections.' Jonathan Frazen and Noah Baumbach are writing the script with Baumbach directing the pilot, if HBO orders one. Wiest and Cooper would be playing parents to three adult children in the project based on Frazen's 2001 novel. [EW]

Kristin Chenoweth will appear on 'Dancing With the Stars.' The Broadway vet will sing on the reality competition series. [Broadway World]

'Gossip Girl' actress Holley Fain is going to have a McSteamy encounter on 'Grey's Anatomy.' Fain has joined the cast as a recurring love interest for Eric Dane's character. [TVLine]

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will get treatment from 'Nurse Jackie.' No word on Armstrong's character. [E! Online]
