'Dancing With the Stars' Week Five Elimination (VIDEO)

'Dancing With the Stars' Week 5 EliminationIt was a great night of entertainment this week on the elimination installment of 'Dancing With the Stars' (Tue., 8PM ET on ABC). With both Kelly Clarkson and The Band Perry on hand to provide the musical interludes, it was easy to forget that we were going to have to lose someone this week.

Carson Kressley had the lowest scores from the judges, but the person with the lowest scores hasn't gone him since Week One. Chaz Bono was two points above him at 21, but again fan support has kept both men in longer than their talent would have alone. Would it continue?

!!SPOILER ALERT!!

It came down to Hope Solo and Carson Kressley, and in the end the fans just couldn't elevate Kressley enough to keep him in the competition. Talent-wise, this seems like the right call, but it's certain that the entertainment value he brought to the show will be missed.

This is my first season watching DWTS since I knew some of the celebs. Still confusing to me. Chyna Phillips did mess up her last dance but she deserved another chance as she was so graceful and poised. I haven't voted since I found out you have to do it asap and have missed out. My problem is, if the public votes whom to keep, why the judges with a point system? Who are the real judges? I really want to know the answer - someone please? If it all up to us, then it must be just a popularity contest as Chyna said and that's not cool. I thought it was about dancing? Thanks to anyone who can tell me the answer...

Dancing with the stars has become a big joke. The best dancers seldom win. How come the he/she Bono is still in it. I don't blame the judges, it's the public that keeps on putting the bad dancers back in because of their celebrity status.

I think alot of the stars are not in it to win it ,but to lose it meaning weight ,what a fun way to lose weight and gain money ,Just how i see it.

Do you think Dancing with TH Stars is being used as a fun and money making way to lose weight ,I have notice that a lot of the stars are trying to lose weight or get back into shape ,just my thought

I agree with seattle-rider about Bono not really being a man; I don't think one should be able to compete as a man if they are not "really" a man!
