Carey Mulligan Almost Leaves for NBC After Ferguson Brings Up Her Oscar Loss (VIDEO)

Carey Mulligan, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson'You know something you usually don't hear talk show hosts mention when talking about or to their guests? The awards they didn't win! But that didn't stop Craig Ferguson from mentioning that Carey Mulligan didn't win the Oscar on 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on CBS) as he was introducing her.

"If she won, she'd be on NBC," he quipped.

Once she was properly on, he apologized for bringing it up, but she said it was fine. But when he complimented her dress, Mulligan mimed looking at her watch and said, "Actually, I've gotta get to NBC."

Carey Mulligan was so twitchy and jittery, she made me uncomfortable. She tugged at her dress, fidgeted around like she had an anal itch, fussed with her hair, and repeatedly examined several things she picked off of her face. She's adorable and hilarious, but she needs a Valium.
