Has ABC found its newest it girl in Mandy Moore?

According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC has made a pilot commitment to 'Us and Them,' a single camera family comedy starring Moore. A put pilot commitment means the network has to pay up if the project doesn't make it to air.

'Us and Them' follows newlyweds Annie (Moore) and Ben (yet to be cast) and the conflicts between the families they grew up with and the new ones they've made as adults.

Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements will serve as executive producers. 'Wedding Crashers' scribe Bob Fisher will write the project with 'Night at the Museum' director Shawn Levy on board to helm the pilot.

This isn't Moore's first TV role, however it is her first series regular gig. She's previously guest starred on 'Scrubs,' 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'How I Met Your Mother.'
