Jeff Probst Shocked as One Contestant Says 'Send Me Home' on 'Survivor' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 20th 2011 1:15AM
'Survivor: South Pacific' - 'Free Agent'Christine was looking to repeat Matt Elrod's performance last season by getting back into the game on 'Survivor: South Pacific' (Wed., 8PM ET on CBS). Meanwhile, Brandon Hantz continues running from the legacy of his Uncle Russell, though ironically Coach noticed this week that he runs exactly like his uncle.

It was Survivor Shuffleboard at Redemption Island, and Christine kept alive another week, and proved to her tribemates she's still holding a grudge by flipping them the bird when they tried to root for her.

At Savaii, Ozzy lost it after getting blindsided last week with Elyse's elimination, and declared himself a free agent and even revealed that he had the Hidden Immunity Idol. Meanwhile, Coach is cementing his alliance by not telling key people, like the unpredictable Brandon, that he has it on their side.

Once again, the tribes proved incredibly equal in the challenge, with Upolu losing this one. Coach blamed Mikayla for the loss and targeted her, but others in his alliance wanted to vote out Edna instead because Mikayla is stronger in challenges.

With the merge pending, this is an age-old debate on 'Survivor.' Keep the tribe strong to go in with numbers, or ensure the people you have will be loyal to you once the merge comes. Brandon was upset at Tribal, and of course spoke his mind about the loyalty issue, but it didn't seem to have much of an impact.

We did love Jeff Probst's expression when Brandon even threw out the words "send me home" if loyalty wasn't going to be valued in the game. Of course, he was just trying to make a point, but we've seen those words prove prophetic in seasons past.

The final vote came down 4-3 and Mikayla was sent packing to join her fellow tribemate at Redemption Island, while Edna lives to be loyal another day. At least Brandon's temptation is gone, though that appears to have faded in recent episodes. Maybe the inevitable dirtiness and stinkiness that winds up clinging to all unwashed Survivors rendered her unpleasant enough for him.

Yes I still watch but to be honest Im not sure why.It was so obivious last year that they wanted Rob to win and they made sure he did.I didn't think they could find someone with as big of an ego as Rob but they did. They found Ozzy,

Lie. Cheat. Stab each other in the back. Use your "friends" . Get PO'd when they're not loyal to you, but you'll turn on them on a hot second to save your worthless two-faced fanny. Yeah. Great. What a wonderful example to use to in-spire people. If it's supposed to be a game, the rules must be simple: F!@# your buddy just to win. Great game. Give me chess any day. One on one. Nobody gets used, lied to, or dealt the short end. All just for money.

I use to love Survivor, and i still watch it, but the flipping contestants are all wanna be actors and models now. What is the deal with that. I am begining to hate watching a bunch of panzies flip floppin around a kick but island. Back to the real people stop with the fake wannabe's or suffer the consequences.

In the beginning...survivor was a wild and crazy format for people who didn't have to work for a month or so. I would love to be on the show. My husband would love to be on the show and how many of you would like to be on that show..but...you can't take off from work for the 30 something days? Your bills have to be paid. Rent or mortgage has to be paid. Your boss is a great guy but he just won't give you the time off. So these contestants are people who..either do not have a job or have rent or mortgage OR they have the greatest bosses and jobs in the world and can get away from the hustle and bustle of reality for this show. As for the present show...I think everyone should call it even and go home. Whoever does win..really didn't outwit or outplay or out back-stabbed anyone. Okay, I have to get back to work.

I have to admit that Brandon had a good point. Unfortunately those people cannot play with integrity and win most of the time. And Coach is getting on my nerves, acting like he is the king of the island. But as long as they keep him around, that is their problem. I guess I don't understand why Ozzy and Coach haven't both been voted out by now. Yes, I still like watching this stupid show.

This show has had it's run. Coach is a big dumbie who does nothing except blame everyone else. No longer do they have to survive in the wild, because they feed and clothe them constantly. It's a battle of lying and back stabbing. The addition of these idols and redemption island have made the show worse. the bring back of previous show idiots doesn't help. Time to close up this show . Do you think Coach is a little soft in his sneakers? He doesn't seem to have an eye for the opposite sex.
