With Her Surveillance Cut, Carrie Makes Contact With Brody on 'Homeland' (VIDEO)

With her hands completely tied by bureaucracy and the law, Carrie had no choice but to remove her surveillance cameras from the Brody household on this week's 'Homeland' (Sun., 10PM ET on Showtime). In four weeks, she'd not come up with a shred of evidence linking him to the growing terrorist plot she's officially working on.But Carrie is certain, so rather than sit at home and stare where all her monitors used to be, she went to his house to stake him out the good old-fashioned way. When he left to go to a support group for veterans -- we admit to being a bit surprised that's where he actually went -- she followed him there and came up with a new plan.
Carrie Mathison, meet Nicholas Brody. Of course, they've met before, when she was part of the debrief, but this time she was very cleverly establishing a personal rapport with him. Can you imagine Saul's reaction when he inevitably finds out she made contact?
Our reaction was, thank goodness she did. Carrie watching him at home created some of the most bizarre but compelling elements to the show, so the thought of her not keeping intimate tabs on him changes everything. She won't know everything now, but a relationship between the two of them should be pretty intriguing.
Of course, when he inevitably tries to sleep with her to spite his wife and best friend, or whatever reasons he has, and she inevitably doesn't stop him, because she's a bit of a trainwreck herself, this is only going to get even crazier. We can't wait!
