Kevin Struggles to Give Up Control of the Clean-Up on 'Hoarders' (VIDEO)

'Hoarders' - 'Kevin/Mary'There are a lot more clean houses in American right now, as 'Hoarders' (Mon., 9PM ET on A&E) is back to make us feel guilty about even the slightest bit of clutter in our homes. At the same time, we can be thankful we don't have to crawl through a "womb" of crap to get into our apartment, like Kevin does.

He has packed his Manhattan apartment so fully, that this child of one of the most famous television couples of the 1950s is sleeping on a park bench. And yet, with the threat of eviction hanging over him, he still struggled to relinquish any control to Dorothy Breininger in the clean-up.

Luckily for Kevin, despite being advised he would be evicted once the building manager was finally able to see the terrible shape of his apartment, the check-up let us know that those proceedings are on hold as Kevin is seeking further treatment and working to clean up.

The news was less rosy for Mary, whose love of all things Victorian completely destroyed her house. After a valiant clean-up effort, the house was ultimately determined unfixable and she will be forced to sell it. Still, her daughter did manage to get rid of her. She's living with her son now, but seeking treatment so she won't hoard in his house as well.

This show only shows that there are people that are so lazy they need someone to come in and clean their house?? Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!!!

There's another side to the hoarding coin ---- I had a mother who threw out everything that was more than a month old --- OCD cleanliness is just as much of a sickness!

This show exhausts me! Kudos to the professionals who attempt to help these people. I wouldn't have the patience to do so.

This show is just a way to get somebody else to clean up your house...We all have to set limits and they dont know how. Or refuse to. I think they are all just extremely lazy , then something happens like being booted out of their house and they panic.

This loser has never had a job in his life; his parents were Jinx Flalkenberg and Tex Mccrairie, now deceased. They have him on a support maintenance money supply and as long as he doesn't have to work, he never will.

I am thinkin Kevin needs some meds. What really gets me about most of the hoarders is what little consideration they have for anyone else. It is all about them ...what a strange disease.

I realize that hoarding is a sickness, but I still can not understand how you can live in such conditions and not see it as a problem. How can you NEED something that has been at the bottom of a huge pile for the last 10 years?? How can you possibly find a reason to keep something that is broken or rusted beyond belief.
