Vocal Point Sings a Tribute to Deceased Father on 'The Sing-Off' (VIDEO)

Vocal Point, 'The Sing-Off'The them may have been hip-hop, but one group went for a far more intimate and personal connection on 'The Sing-Off' (Mon., 8PM ET on NBC). To honor the recently-deceased father of one of its members, Vocal Point performed 'I'll Be Missing You' as a tribute.

The performance was wrought with emotion, and the group slipped through to safety in the first bracket of the night. In the second group, the YellowJackets didn't muster enough with their take on Lupe Fiasco's 'The Show Goes On' and had to face off against The Collective, who didn't pull it together enough on Pitbull's 'Give Me Everything.'

The final showdown saw both groups performing Nelly's 'Just a Dream' to see who's dream will continue and who was going to have to wake back up in the real world. In the end, it was The Collective who was sent packing, where the former solo artists will have to decide if they want to stick it out together, or go their separate ways again.

Wow... If that isn't the most judging, rude, and insensitive thing I've ever heard... You have no idea do you.

Gee, I guess there isn't anything these people won't do in order to advance their careers. To try and influence judges by stepping on the back of your dead father is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
