Contestants Prank Bob Harper on 'The Biggest Loser,' But it Backfires on Them (VIDEO)
Halloween Week brought with it a theme of unity and a temptation of candy on 'The Biggest Loser' (Tue., 8PM ET on NBC). The ten remaining finalists were told they were competing as a single unit this week. If they could lose a combined 100 lbs, then no one would be going home.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
As a temptation, a bucket filled with ten lbs of candy was hung in the kitchen. For every pound of it someone ate, they would earn a pound advantage on the scale. While none of them seemed to seriously consider eating the candy too much, they did come up with a way to unite in a prank against Bob -- only they may not have thought it all the way through.
They decided to hide the candy and tell him that they ate it all.
They did this after a maze challenge in which they legitimately won a ten-lb advantage on the scale, so they sweetened the lie with the half-truth that they'd gotten that advantage. Based on the look on his face, it was no surprise that they told him pretty quickly it was a prank, but the damage was done.
Bob Harper put them through their paces because of that, along with the other trainers. Because there were no teams this week, it was an exciting opportunity for the contestants and the trainers to mix it up and experience something new. Well, except for Jennifer.
Jennifer seems to be in love with Bob Harper. She said his name about 100 times throughout the episode, and she moped around and didn't give her all whenever Dolvett or Anna were training her. Everyone saw it, and everyone kind of resented the negativity she brings.
At the weigh-in, it wasn't even close. Sunny gained five lbs, after her massive 14-lb loss last week, and everyone else just dropped a few pounds here and there. Their final tally was 36 lbs in total. This after a week in which they were brutalized by the trainers ... so next week should be good?
To really drive the point home about her attitude, it was her own Black Team that sealed Jennifer's fate. They had the power to really force the issue had they unified in a vote against Ramon, but they took the opportunity to strengthen their own team emotionally instead.
Jennifer is doing well at home, though, without Bob Harper. She's lost 100 lbs and is determined to win the marathon. Plus, we loved the little side story about the green dress she'd been wanting for three years. The shopkeeper promised to give it to her if she lost 100 lbs, so it's hers now!
