Comedian Patrice O'Neal Suffers Stroke

Stand-up comedian Patrice O'Neal, 41, suffered a stroke last Wednesday, comic Jim Norton announced on the Opie and Anthony Show.

"We wanted it to come from us." Norton said, according to
LaughSpin. He was joined on the show by Colin Quinn, Robert Kelly, Rich Vos and Keith Robinson "We don't know how he is. We don't know how he's going to be. I didn't want to do this by myself. I wish we had more news for you."

O'Neal's family has requested that fans respect the comedian's privacy, but set up an email address to receive well-wishes: loveforpatrice@gmail.com.

The comic actor appeared on three episodes of 'The Office' as warehouse worker Lonny, hosted the show 'Web Junk 20' on VH1 for two seasons and was a regular on 'Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn.'

O'Neal's last national TV performance was at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen, where his health served as the butt of several jokes. You can watch the video below.
