CBS Bows to World Series, Schedules Reruns

by Chris Harnick, posted Oct 28th 2011 1:30PM
A Gifted ManCBS will air reruns in place of original programming opposite Fox's World Series Game 7 tonight, Fri., Oct. 28.

Instead of 'CSI: NY,' 'Blue Bloods' and 'A Gifted Man,' CBS will air the 'Gifted Man' pilot and reruns of 'CSI: NY' and 'CSI: Miami.' Sorry, 'Blue Bloods' fans.

NBC is keeping the premieres of 'Chuck' and 'Grimm' as scheduled.

The Peacock network has been heavily promoting the series premiere of 'Grimm,' a new fairy tale drama starring David Giuntoli as Detective Burckhardt, a descendent of the Grimms. 'Chuck' kicks things off on NBC at 8PM ET with its final season premiere. 'Grimm' follows at 9PM.

'Fringe' was set to return to Fox, but the network has postponed its return for the baseball game.

>:-( Well I certainly hope CBS is monitoring this post because they’re lost will now be NBC’s gain. I was looking forward to a new ep of “A Gifted Man” especially since “Fringe” was going to be pre-empted because of STUPID baseball. Well, now I’m giving my Nielsen 18-49 demo to “Chuck!”

News bulletin: not every freak’n person in America is into baseball you idiots!!
