By now, we're used to the bloated reunion specials for the various 'Real Housewives' series. But 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo) is upping the ante with a prequel special to the new season. 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Before They Were Stars' promised to spotlight every detail of their pasts, so that we might better know who they are before they start getting catty and sniping at one another in next week's premiere.

NeNe came clean about her past as a stripper, all the girls showed off their "fantastic" (yikes!) hairstyles of years gone by, and we got a reminder that Kandi Burruss is and has been a pretty big presence in the music industry.

She reflected on her big year at the Grammys, when she had two songs she penned going up against one another. TLC's 'Scrubs' won her the award over Destiny's Child's 'Bills, Bills, Bills,' but it's a rare honor to make up fully half of any category.
