What to Watch: TV Picks for October 31 - November 6

America's Next Top Model - Thursday November 3, 9PM ET/PT, CTV Two/CW

If you've ever wondered what happened to former Eminem protege of dubious street cred The Game, Tyra has the answer. For one thing, they just call him Game now. (It is tough to have the definitive article before your name -- just ask The Situation.) I wonder what Jayceon Terrell Taylor thinks of his strange fortunes -- which saw him nominated for two Grammy Awards only six years ago, and now he's a guest star on 'ANTM.' The model-bes are asked to write and sing a song about their lives, which, holy moly, that would be enough to get me to tune in. But bonus: they make a music video of their results, which Game (no "The") directs.

Also This Week:

Law & Order: SVU - Wednesday November 2, 10PM ET/PT, CTV Two/NBC

I remember tonight's guest star Sofia Vassilieva as Eloise from the TV specials -- so the fact that she plays a rape victim makes me feel really old, though of course I know that rape victims can be any age. The plotline of the episode is deceptively simple: Vassilieva's character makes an easy ID on her attacker and it looks like an open-and-shut case until the accused gets a really good lawyer (Andre Braugher). Sure to make the audience squirm.

Charlie's Angels - Thursday November 3, 7PM ET (8 PM ET), CTV/ABC

It's been interesting watching Drew Barrymore slowly create the illusion that she single-handedly invented 'Charlie's Angels,' and I wonder if the news that ABC has cancelled the latest incarnation will dent her ego at all. Don't get me wrong, I like the girl, I would totally go out dancing with her, but one does get the sense she and reality have only a tenuous relationship. Anyway, if you like the show, watch while you can. Tonight's episode involves a kidnapper, an artist, a gallery owner and Bosley being set up.

Bones - Thursday November 3, 9PM ET/PT, Global/Fox

Season 7 starts tonight and Bones/Booth worshipers finally hit paydirt. Now parents, B&B actually kiss several times in this episode -- even in their very first scene together. But don't freak out if that's not what you're in the show for (which... OK... you know there are other crime shows that make way more sense and stuff, right?). It's all pretty light and playful, not angsty. Meanwhile the opening murder is rumored to be pretty obvious, but it has parallels to Brennan's attempts to change her life that make it 'aw'-worthy.
