A conversation behind-the-scenes spilled out onto 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) when Jimmy Fallon brought up the latest 'Apes' remake, 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.' Guest Tracy Morgan was not a fan."Something made me-- to the point where I couldn't feel for a computer-generated monkey," he said. "I couldn't. I'm old school."
He then started to show just how old school he is, by reciting the names of multiple characters from the original film, and then slipping into dialogue from the Heston version. Eventually, he was up and rocking back and forth like an ape, declaring that "the only good human is a dead human!"
Fallon suggested he should take his performance and do a one-man show on Broadway. We think if he did, it would probably become a success. It would certainly be entertaining, if this "preview" is any indication.
