Amy Farrah Fowler is definitely more in touch with her humanity than Sheldon on 'The Big Bang Theory' (Thu., 8PM ET on CBS), but that's not to say she still doesn't have a long way to go. Particularly, she needs to learn a little something about boundaries when it comes to her infatuation with Penny.

We think that she'll drag Sheldon kicking and screaming at least a part of the way with her on this journey, as evidenced by his willingness to negotiate a level of intimacy with her when she was having a rough time, emotionally.

Apparently, she was driving Bernadette and Penny crazy during bridesmaid dress shopping, so they snuck off one day without her, bringing back painful memories of a lifetime of being left out. Naturally, her solution to this hurt was to seek a wild romp in the hay with Sheldon, but Amy had to settle for cuddling and the suggestion of second base (he didn't take her up on the offer).

But really, it's only a matter of time. Sheldon has been slowly humanizing since the series began, so we imagine that, by the end of it, Amy Farrah Fowler will have convinced him to take that final step towards a physical connection, and he'll either come out of it convinced that science doesn't actually matter all that much, or completely disappointed by the experience.
