Jon Stewart spends much of his time on 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central) marveling at government waste and the ridiculousness of what's going on, both in Washington and in the media. When politicians get a camera thrust in their face or a crowd of people around them, they're pounding the gavel that Congress and the American government need to get focused on finding a way to create jobs for American people. But what is Congress doing? Reaffirming 'In God We Trust' as our national motto.
A motto, Stewart points out, no one is trying to eradicate or replace. So they're just wasting time, basically? Well, as long as they're at it, Stewart threw out a few suggestions for them to consider before reaffirming the one we already have. We think he threw this one in just for the Republican majority: 'America -- Home of the Reagan.'
