You never know what the trigger is for someone to slide into the dark and lonely world of 'Hoarders' (Mon., 9PM ET on A&E). For Jerry, it came out in a quick discussion with his sister Karen that he felt she was cheating him out of his inheritance and wanted to see him suffer.

Of course, we assume that she wants the best for him -- she did show up to help a mostly futile clean-up session considering the state of the house -- but we never got any clarity on what Jerry was talking about and why he wasn't getting any of their family inheritance.

That said, had he gotten it, it would only have made his problem worse as we doubt he would have put the additional funds to fixing up the house that was basically destroyed in a fire. That happened years ago, and he hadn't even removed the cans sitting on the shelves, much less repaired anything.
