When you're a detective interviewing witnesses to a violent crime, you have to be prepared to hear the unexpected. Captain Brass was trying to get a child witness, Declan, to explain what happened the night his father got shot on 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' (Wed., 10PM ET on CBS).Brass was confident he already knew that the mother had finally gotten fed up with the abuse and shot her husband. He just needed the kid to confirm his suspicions. And he got the story mostly right.
The man was shot because someone had had enough of the abuse, but it wasn't his wife that did it. It was Declan who shot and killed his father. Even more chilling, he said of the act, "And really, I've never felt better."
